Simply the Worst Table movers. I hired 3 guys to do a move from one house to another from Simply The Best Movers on Feb 22nd/2023. Move went ok. They seemed to have to think hard about taking things apart and putting them back together. When we were at the second house bringing things in, one of the guys was putting our 4 kitchen table legs back together that they took apart in the first house. It seemed to take him 20 to 30 minutes to put the 4 legs back together. I was so busy pointing where things go to the other 2 guys so I never thought much about it. Then when the wife started to put decorations on the table a few days later she noticed it was wobbling. I looked closer and discovered all 4 legs were loose and the table was wobbling plus the legs were installed backwards. The legs normally point out at the bottom. But now there were pointing in which looks weird. I took them apart to see what happened.
Turns out he put them in backwards which doesn’t work because there are Tee Nuts that are knocked into the wood on one side in a hole. It only takes 2 to 3 minutes to reinstall these 4 legs. You put them in the right way. Zapp two bolts in each leg and they are done. Instead he did it the wrong way that when you tighten the bolts it pulls out the Tee Nuts so nothing is tight. Then another one he pried apart the Tee Nuts and put them on the other side of the leg which made it tight but the leg is the wrong way and it cuts into the wood on that side. The other three were different; they all pulled the Tee Nut away from the legs so they were wobbly.
Not the end of the world if the guy just mentioned to me and the other but he said nothing I guess hoping nobody would notice the table wobbles all over. I paid them and they left. I contacted the manager about this by email sending videos and pictures asking if they would come and fix it and give me a free move of some stuff left over. I then called and the manager said they would come and fix it in four days and only give me 10% off another move. With a mistake like this from a “professional” moving company I would have expected at worst they would come that day and fix it right away. I had company coming and this would look embarrassing so I went to Home Depot and got the parts they ruined and put it back together myself.

Simply the worst movers
Charged me $1480 for a small truck that took them from 9 am to 7:30 pm to load and unload without getting furniture back together
Took more time organizing truck and talking on their phones and smoking than actually moving stuff
Could not communicate because they couldn’t speak English
Had to make arrangements to move the remainder of my stuff!!!
