It was officially renamed from Sacred Balance to Studio Phi five years ago to reflect our changing style and approach to tattoo design. Sacred Balance, the original name, opened in Calgary in 2005. It was formed by a cluster of talented artists who shared a mutual belief that forming a strong bond with each client was key to creating a stable tattoo community. Studio Phi is a creative artist cooperative. We realize that every tattoo we design is a permanent reminder that will affect the client.
