Wildsands Petcare & training

Address cannot be disclosed for safety and bylaw reasons. Meet-ups are possible for daycare/boarding. Wildsands Petcare & training was established in 2011. There is enough space for medium and small dogs. Daycare is also available for larger dogs, but currently, there is a waiting list. Sandy began her journey into animal care when she was a child. At the Braunwarth Zoo, she volunteered with her uncle (her mother's brother). This sanctuary takes in orphaned and injured animals and gives them shelter. During the summer, they have camps for kids. The grade school children learn about the natural world and how to care for and handle baby animals. Sandy started her volunteering life at the local rescue organization when she was 8. She was known as the one who you could rely on to feed and clean up after newly rescued kittens and puppies. She learned and trained with this organization and honed her skills in caring for these young animals. Sandy went on to become an adoption counselor, working with families to find the right pet for their lifestyle.
