About this business
Centre 82 Massage Therapy established me in 1995 as Karl Faes. I've supported Edmontonians in my work as a sole proprietor through Breathwork and Integrative Movement, Creative Stress Management Consulting and most recently as Centre 82 Massage Therapy to grow into happier and more fulfilling beings. I am a forerunner in a touch, sound, and breath approach to expanding the human possibilities to live healthier, happier, and more productive lives.
I have always been a mover and student of the body, starting at University of Alberta in B.Sc. in Kinesiology – Athletic Therapy (conferred in 1990). U of A also granted me a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education – Athletic Therapy and Health & fitness promotion. We then followed my Massage Therapist and The Trager Approach – Movement re-education certification program with Breath & Movement Transformation, taught by Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks, at the Hendricks Institute of Ojai California.
My practice offerings comprise Massage Therapy, Trager-neuromuscular reeducation, Massage Therapy, and Individual Breath Coaching Sessions. The services I offer also include individual Movement Transformation sessions, and “Awakening the Breath” workshops, in addition to the seminars I present for corporations titled “Creative Stress Management Tools for the Workplace.”
