Two lifelong pals started an Edmonton tattoo store. Crimson Empire Tattoo was launched by Edmonton natives Mitchell and Curt in 2007. What started as buddies talking about their goals became a business based on the artists and clients it served. Only great tattoos and being kind to every customer mattered. The local company's reputation grew rapidly, becoming a favorite among north-side Edmonton customers. In 2018, it would also include all of Alberta. The company had clients from all over Canada and international visitors. The north-side store transformed in 2013. It was constructed for seven tattoo artists, but now there are 13 talented artists. Curt and Mitchell knew it was time for a new beginning. Black Gold Era
