Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Centre

Named in honor of Dr. Gerald Zetter, the Good Samaritan Gerald Zetter Care Centre is one of our most dynamic sites, providing 190 long-term and short-term services for frail older people. Dr. Gerald Zetter was the Chief Medical Staff at The Good Samaritan Society from 1974-1999. The care facility continues to provide the same care that Dr. Zetter provided. The stuff has taken up his mantle. On every floor of this 100-resident facility, there are residents. On the second floor are the two-story residence rooms. Each pod contains 25 residents rooms, each one with 13 private and 12 semi-private rooms. The main floor accommodates a chapel and the Gniewotta Quiet Room. The Chapel offers a place to pray, while the Gniewotta Quiet Room provides a place to decompress and relax for family members going through difficult times. Residents and families may also get pleasure from the beautiful, shadily treed areas with umbrella and gazebo-shaded benches. Wheelchair-accessible flower boxes are also available.
