Good Samaritan Society (GSS) and Good Samaritan Canada (GSC), two faith-based, registered charitable organizations, provide seniors in their communities with excellent accommodations and health services. Our track record of operational excellence, over 70 years of combined experience in successful high quality community and health care services in innovative and supportive settings, ensures that we are the family and individual clients' preferred provider (Good Samaritan Society, 2020). The Christian Hospitality objective is to provide Christian hospitality to anyone in distress or need, thereby improving the well-being of the whole person. This model attempts to provide spiritual care to all faiths. This is the Society's Christian Hospitality Model, wherein Pastoral-Spiritual care includes Chaplains, who are spiritual care facilitators or providers. The church welcomes and trains volunteers, largely from the congregation, as pastoral care visitors. We also offer training for staff, including enhanced training for staff involved in spirituality and spiritual care, so that everyone can meet clients and residents' spiritual needs when the Chaplain is unavailable (Good Samaritan Society, 2020).

Re: Discontinued Tele Care. I was for over 10 years with Telemark in Edmonton so have some experience on their services. IN MARCH 2025 two week before 31st day of the month I received a letter from them informing the service is no longer available after March 31st. 2025 and to find another provider. TeleCare was a service for EMERGENCY of seniors or anyone wanting and so it was good for me. However, long story short besides giving VERY short notice which gave me anxiety as to my safety I send a keep your them May 15th. 2025 and requested proof of them submitting my billing to ALBERTA SENIORS for refund to my account. This service was provided by TELECARE as part of the contract so seniors don't have to. Today is September 2nd, 2025 and they, being g a Terry Carlson, Director of TeleCare have not bothered to send me copies of such. I AM OUT OVER $700.00 because!.Since there is no family left of mine I had intended to give my estate to GOOD SAMARITAN SOCIETY in Edmonton. No longer is this in my ESTATE they are out of all and it is a super good financial estate. Maybe Good Samaritan Society should recall the position of this Terry Carlson who seem to NOT have the interest of Good Samaritan Society in mind, and does have no clue of how to run the business. My opinion is NOT giving anything of donation to them until proven the T.Carlson is laid off. Horrible outfit it has become.
