The four parts of Matco Investments are as follows: Matco Investments (a private holding company), Matco Capital (a private investment company), Matco Development (a real-estate development company), and Matco Financial (a firm that offers investment counseling and asset management services). Matco Capital was established in 2003. It aims at long-term investments and invests heavily in equity capital for growing businesses (Naylor, 2021). Matco Capital makes its investments directly and indirectly through affiliates and subsidiaries in all industries. However, our primary focus is oilfield service companies and upstream oil companies. Matco Capital has an edge due to its ability to structure financings creatively and innovatively. This gives us a unique angle that is typically unavailable to other capital providers. In addition to traditional forms of financing, Matco Capital participates in venture capital, management buyouts, and start-ups.
