In 1997, our founder acquired U&R Tax Depot in Canada, rebranded it to Liberty Tax, and created a new leader in tax preparation. Our goal is to earn local trust and national respect as the top professional tax service provider. We now have more than 250 Canadian locations. On average during tax season, our offices prepare over 1.7 million individual returns, even as competition in the tax preparation industry grows.
