Reliable Out of necessity, Rhythmic Gym was born. This is Vancouver's newest fitness program for children between the ages of 1 and 10. The gym combines the foundations of gymnastics with the rhythmic gymnastics hand-held apparatus, adding dance, music, and movement, making it more enjoyable. Rhythmic Gym began with the mother-daughter team from Adagio Rhythmic Academy and Premiere Competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics Club of Vancouver, who built athletic athletes for the future while working together. The two of them mentor and train in rhythmic gymnastics. Adrienne Arnold and Megan Magid have given many Vancouver girls confidence and inspiration. The program provided was developed to focus on the steps that lead to lifelong physical literacy by incorporating gymnastics basics and active movement skills and using small apparatus. The program also integrates the fun and dynamic aspects of rhythm-based movements and dancing to music. RHYTHM Gym was established by three people who all agreed that they shared the same goal: “Inspiring young children to move for a healthy, enjoyable future where the idea of lifelong fitness comes naturally.”
