Customer feedback summary: My experience working with Yaz at Alder Law was fantastic. He helped me and guided me throughout an employment-related legal matter. He was very knowledgeable, straightforward, and practical in his communication. What I liked most about Yaz was his capacity to explain things in a language that I could understand and provide realistic advice instead of confusing me. I was with my mom through a very personal and difficult family matter. We had previously been represented by MLT Aikins, but we felt that we needed a different level of personal connection, responsiveness, and care. We started looking for other family law firms in the major urban centres. As a local Tri-Cities resident, I was drawn to finding a firm in our community where my mom wouldn’t feel like a file. My investigation took me to Alder Law, and right from the start, the contrast was apparent. Yaz and Kenny approached my mom's matter with professionalism, compassion, and care. They were responsive, practical, cost-conscious, and always ensured we understood our choices. At every point, we felt that the advice they provided us was based on what would help my mom and hence she reach a meaningful resolution to the matter. Yaz deserves special mention. Rarely does a lawyer combine strong legal judgment and negotiation with this level of delicacy and personal commitment to the people one supports. Yaz was strategic, but that was not always the best.
