Canada Royal Arts High School

We are an arts-based high school that emphasizes experiential, creative learning. Creative people are not adequately taught in ways that industrial and post-industrial education systems can ever grasp. Our goal is to inspire students, families, and the community to commit to more thoughtful practices that will enable us to reimagine our collective future. We foster an inclusive community that supports academic growth, communication, self-expression, and creativity. We combine art theories and techniques with hands-on Art + Design studio practice in drawing, painting, graphic design, and fashion design. Media arts, as well as portfolio preparation, other electives, and advanced courses, are available to our students. We believe that the path to success in the future will not be memorizing notes, taking tests, and following routines. The future belongs to those who break the rules and listen to their hearts. Our classroom is a place for students to live and learn in a creative, artistic, and respectful environment. All students must be encouraged to explore their creativity, express themselves, and hone their skills in a safe space.

Royal High School was praised by a parent after their child was enrolled and awarded an opportunity in UBC's film qualified programme. There were both outstanding academic and student satisfaction reviews at Royal High School. The failure of another potential person to recruit in High School or college resulted in some events becoming puzzled and causing confusion. The students and their families are satisfied with body safety, especially when COVID-19 worries are still existent. Small class sizes mean that every student gets the concept of a personalized academic environment. So, even the presence of a large traditional school is an advantage especially if the traditional system does not serve their children properly. The school is an excellent example of a good school.
