Stay away from this salon, especially Joanne! They are a rip off! Zero professionalism and awful customer service! In July 2023, I asked and paid for cool-toned blonde highlights on my virgin black regrowth and to basically refresh my roots! I already had been getting amazingly blonde highlights for the past 3 years at another salon by a “real” specialist, so my ends just needed a toner. And as you see in the photos, Joanne ruined my hair! What I got in the picture is nothing like what I wanted and paid for! She damaged my hair as she couldn’t handle the foils, the bleach dripped out, moved to unwanted parts of my hair, left me with horribly noticeable patches that were browned by bleach, there is brassy marks of bleach all over my head around my face now! As she removed the foils quickly, there wasn’t enough lift and even the highlights are not blonde! She and OSO salon refused to refund me or compensate for the damage they made! DO NOT trust them if your money is hard-earned and you love your hair and don’t want to be shocked and frustrated! I wanted my hair to be refreshed for a family trip, they ruined my trip, my pictures, and my mood. My money, energy, and time are gone! I messaged Joanne and asked for my money back, so I could go to another salon where they can handle foils properly!!! She blocked me on instagram where she posted a false and misleading before/after of my hair. See the screenshots I took! Don’t be fooled by their advertising! Rather than posting an AFTER photo of my scalp where she made the mess, she posted a picture of my entire hair taken from the bottom, the parts that she had nothing to do with except a toner and trimming, and claimed she did the entire highlights on my hair which were done by another person during the course of 3 years!!!! The manager, JP, simply said the owners can’t do anything because too much time had passed since I first was in salon and apparently I had to somehow cancel my family trip to go to salon within a two week time window and get it fixed!!!!! Sorry that I couldn’t accommodate you OSO!!!!! Just so you know, there is no fix to this mess, OSO! My hair is ruined!!! These marks are gonna last for years on my hair, besides Joanne already had the opportunity to cover those patches the in the first place, was she hoping that I won’t notice those and she could get away with it??? I know how dye works! Even if she dyed my hair a darker shade, it wouldn’t be a fix!! The dye fades away and leaves you with patches of brown hair at one point or another! Now I must get a very short hair cut to get rid of this mess???? Or should I go to another salon and pay another $400 to bleach my entire hair?? I don’t want any of these, I want my perfectly virgin hair, my time, and money back! Shame on you OSO and Joanne! They charged me $350 for this mess!
