Jacob Ya'akov and Rinat Seg are business partners. They have three daughters, Shira (Ya'akov) and Adi (Maya). They sought to bring out-of-the-box ideas to Canadian mortgage brokers in Vancouver. In the summer of 2003, Jacob and Rinat moved to Vancouver. Jacob took his first independent mortgage agent job as an economist and finance graduate with an MBA. Rinat (M.A.), an organizational psychologist, accompanied the process. Rinat began conducting workshops to help newcomers with their immigration. Jacob has earned many awards for his accomplishments in mortgage lending, so it was time to start their franchise. It was called Covengo, but it is now called the Sneg Mortgage Team. Many years of experience and a high transaction volume have given them access to the best rates and terms available to their clients.
