The Happening Dance Company, Kimberly Stevenson's brainchild in Vancouver, strives to produce excellent dancers while honoring all body shapes and people. The Happening Dance Company approaches its 10th year in September 2022. It has seen massive growth in the last few years. We welcome hundreds of dancers aged 3-17 to our studio seven days a week on Fraser Street. They learn hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, ballet, breakdance, and tap. In January, we host a show called Accelerate in which our students perform alongside contemporary artists from our local community. We have a range of classes suitable for beginners to advanced dancers. There is a class that will fit your level. The Happening offers Adult Tap & Hip Hop in nine-week sessions. We value each student as a person first and a dancer second. All bodies are valued, and we are working to create the best dancers!
