Adjacent to Vancouver General Hospital, the William A. Webber Medical Student & Alumni Centre stands at the corner of 12th Avenue and Heather Street. MSAC is an academic and social establishment with a mandate to cater for UBC residents, students, alumni, faculty, and other units. It was founded in 1990 and subsequently underwent expansions in 1996, 2005. In 2007, it was renamed the William A. Webber Medical Student & alumni Centre. MSAC was established to provide medical students with the help they needed, courtesy of student and alumni donations.

MSAC was created to support medical students, and in 1990, the building was exclusively made possible by the contributions of students and alumni.
It includes four meeting rooms and a gym, and there are lockers for 300 students. Additionally, the centre has a computer keyboard, and a kitchen. Also, the centre has four rooms that can hold videoconference meetings.
