Vancouver College

Vancouver College, a Catholic boys' school in British Columbia, was founded in 1922. It is the only Catholic boys' school in British Columbia and is licensed by Vancouver College Limited, which is governed by the Christian Brothers. The organization's administration is under the control of the Congregation of Christian Brothers. We are a faith-based learning community that offers enablement for boys and young men from diverse backgrounds and faith traditions. We seek to accomplish this task by following the teachings of Blessed Edmund Rice and utilizing vibrant and compassionate teaching and learning practices. Vancouver College core staff, which includes Christian Brothers and lay educators, conducts its duties and responsibilities motivated by faith and the promise to serve students at risk, helping them fulfill their potential and make a difference in the community. Vancouver College is a vibrant educational community and men of faith that educates student leaders in the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice, preparing young men of diverse backgrounds for leadership in a global community. Vancouver College aims to support and challenge its students to meet the Edmund Rice Essential Elements of an Edmund Rice Christian Brother Education and assist them to apply the mission and vision of the Church so that they live lives of blessing, excellence, leadership, and service.
