Had a window crack repaired by First Response Glass. The staff were quite quick at getting an appointment and letting us know the cost (ICBC) but when we had it replaced they phoned to say there was rust around the windshield (a2003 truck, of course there’s rust….yours in the windshield replacement business afterall) and wanted us to okay an additional $75 charge. We had no recourse at this point because the window was already out. A bit of steel wool would probably fix the problem but the girl on the phone was pretty ‘snappy’. They charged us and additional $75 plus tax snd , of course charged CLAIMED IT ON THE ICBC CHARGE AS WELL!! That’s such poor ethics and double dipping. If they did that on every windshield repair they’re getting a good but extra cash.
Won’t use them again!! Stay clear and try Capital Glass.
