I became a lawyer in 1992 after getting admitted to the British Columbia bar. My practice spans more than two decades in Canadian citizenship and immigration law. It has been a pleasure helping people worldwide and learning their cultures. I practice litigation in other fields, such as business law, land-use, construction, debtor creditor, insolvency and contracts, and infrastructure projects. I was the Chairperson of Victoria’s Employment Insurance Board of Referees for nine years. I directed and conducted hearings. In rough estimates, I handled approximately 1000 appeals and decided their cases. I became an adjudicator after a lengthy legal career. My experiences and mediation skills are my most significant strengths. I am a skilled mediator and have the ability to listen, communicate, be practical, and keep my cool. I am the right person to solve your conflict. I taught "Business Associations" and "Remedies" at the University of Victoria's Law School. I also taught classes at the Law Society of British Columbia's Professional Legal Training Course. I have conducted many legal education seminars over the years. I am a former executive member of the Canadian Bar Association's British Columbia Branch Immigration Subsection Executive Committee and former Victoria Bar Association Executive.
