Victoria Montessori Preschool

Victoria Montessori Preschool and Childcare has been in operation since 2004. We opened a new, lovely school in 2019. Our school is in Victoria West. Full-time Montessori is available at Victoria Montessori for 2.5 to 5-year-olds up to kindergarten. Twenty-first-century children face a rapid pace and overstimulating toys and media in a high-stress family situation. We promote independence, self-awareness, and confidence. We create a calming, peaceful atmosphere in the "moving chaos" of life. Montessori is a peaceful atmosphere in which children can focus on their learning. Children are encouraged to be active in their learning, sensing all the benefits of the Montessori classroom and wondering about all the reasons it is so important. Children can develop discipline, accomplishment, and creativity through repeated exercises. It stimulates curiosity and creativity. We believe in Montessori at Victoria Montessori. Governing principles are established and strong values are instilled. Every child is treated as an individual and guided to independence and control. Respect for the environment and others is exemplified by directresses. Directresses encourage confidence and self-esteem and promote mindfulness, which is critical to mental and emotional stability.
