Since 2004, Victoria Montessori Preschool and Childcare have been in business. Our new, beautiful facility was built in 2019 and is located in Victoria West. Our full-time Montessori program is available for children aged 2.5 to 5 years old, up through kindergarten. Children of the twenty-first century are growing up in an extremely fast-paced environment with overstimulating toys and media, as well as having to deal with stress from their parents. We strive to foster independence, self-awareness, and confidence at Victoria Montessori. In the "moving chaos", we create an environment that is harmonious and peaceful. Montessori classrooms are a calm, peaceful environment that allows children to concentrate on their learning. The Montessori classroom encourages children to be involved in learning and is open to all their senses. Repeated exercise can bring discipline, success, and creativity while also stimulating curiosity and creativity. We are dedicated to Montessori education at Victoria Montessori. Strong foundations are built and we instill strong values. Every child is treated as an individual and guided to independence and control through respectful care and love. Respect for the environment and others is modeled by directresses. They promote confidence and self-esteem and encourage mindfulness. These are essential for mental and emotional health.
