These fundamental values have not changed since the organization was established in West Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2008. The founder is Dean Forster, who grew up working in the glass industry in Kelowna, where he was raised. This experience made Dean Forster fall in love with glass and his commitment to customer satisfaction. In 2015, Pierre Debreuil, who worked for a glass company specializing in custom glass work, joined ACR. This involved flat glass, auto glass, and other types of glass. The love of cars inspired Pierre; ACR Glass was renamed ACR Auto Glass. The focus switched to windshield replacements and repairs as well as ADAS calibration.
