Jade Transport Ltd has a long commitment to quality. The company headquarters today is in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada). The roots of Jade go back to Mexico, where Jake Dyck first began his career in trucking transporting logs with a Model A truck in 1935. After his move to Manitoba in 1952, Dyck senior began moving cars between Ontario and Saskatchewan. The following year, he left the highway to work for Oil and Industry Suppliers, a local tanker company, and eventually acquired a contract to haul asphalt cement in 1969. He partnered and founded J & J Trucking when he took over the company the next year. Larry, his son, began working In 1975. The company transformed into Jade Transport Ltd. – it stands for Jake Amy Dyck Enterprises. Soon after, his wife, Kim, and Larry and Jade took over. In 1984, Jake retired. In 1986, a friend of the Senior Dyck from high school, Greg Arndt, took over the office and later became a partner. In the mid-80s, Jade grew when it partnered with a local firm called Provincial Tankers from Concord (Ontario), a Division of Route Canada. When it got its first stainless fuel units, it was made the representative. Jade began transporting chemicals in Western Canada. When Route Canada collapsed in 1988, Jade Transport acquired its operating authority and began to transport chemicals across Canada and the U.S. border. The company was founded in 1990 and has specialized in transporting hazardous liquid waste, food grade, and kosher products. We have 115 trailers, 60 stainless tankers, and 65 tractors. Each tractor has a custom paint job and unique features and has won hundreds of awards in truck shows across North America. Jade Transport strives for excellence in both our fleet and every customer interaction.
