Reliable Our Story began over 70 years ago. As a child in the 1960's and 70's, I grew up with little and learned to work hard. My father taught me many skills necessary to renovate and build homes. In 1976, we took a gamble starting Rempel Builders. Those were challenging times. To get work, you often had to bet the farm on buying and flipping one house at a time and then doing another. Our reputation grew. Advertising was not affordable back then. Word-of-mouth proved to be the most effective advertising method. One satisfied customer after another made this method surpass all others. As our reputation increased, so did the size of the projects. Companies started funding flips with bank money instantly turned into large-scale interior and exterior renovations. Our slogan was careful planning, transparency, and open communication. We have the experience, so we don't need to be a firework or to disappear tomorrow. Since then, we've been very successful. The industry changes, but our core values don't. Confidence and honesty. Hard work and trust. There are many renovation industry stereotypes. Contractors lie and take shortcuts. But we are members of Renomark and the Manitoba Home Builders Association. Our goal is to change that image. Homeowners should know they can hire renovators with confidence. They will know that the contractor is honest, skilled, and cares about their best interest.
