We have worked with thousands of students worldwide to make music through our performance-based music education program. School of Rock Winnipeg offers music programs, camps, and workshops for students ranging in age from three to 93 in search of a place for safe and authentic music education. This rock program builds the students’ basic proficiency on the instruments they chose while preparing them for the stage throughout. Our Rock 101 students have gained musical proficiency and love for their chosen instruments. School of Rock Winnipeg is home to a unique music education program taught by professional musicians. The Winnipeg students can take a class to play drums, guitar/vocals, or work on songwriting. They can learn music styles such as metal, folk, and indie rock. Winnipeg has been the site of many influential musicians, including Burton Cummings and neil Young, and Brent Fitz. Attica Riots is also a Winnipeg band. The students who work hard can perform at prominent Winnipeg venues like the West End Cultural Centre Theatre, Burton Cummings Theatre, and Park Theatre.
