Dear Shannon, I am so grateful to be part of your Yoga Journey. I believe that yoga is for everyone, every body and every mind. I aim to offer you a class that is inclusive, supportive and safe for you, no matter where you are on your journey. Yoga has been a significant part of my life for so long that I cannot remember a time without it. My yoga practice has touched every aspect of my life in a deep and profound way. It has empowered and sustained me, making me stronger, more resilient, flexible and fearless both on and off the mat. Yoga has enabled me to be more present in each moment, to accept what is, and to be grateful for it all. My yoga journey began in 2005, when I was pregnant with my child. I wanted a practice that would be more forgiving for my baby as a regular step/cardio student. I came to recognize the remarkable impact of yoga on my physical, mental and emotional health. I received my 200-hour Yoga Centre Winnipeg teaching certificate in 2014. My education would never end. I also obtained a Yin Yoga Certification from Omniji Teacher's College, a 50-hour Sivatantra Yoga Certification from Pegcity Yoga, and my IM=X Basic and TRX Certifications. I also have a POUND certification and recently received my Aqua Physical FloatFitHIIT, Balance, and Grow certifications. I am currently working toward my 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teaching certification. Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all my teachers, as I continue to travel. Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your wisdom with me. I hope to help people flourish by allowing them to feed their minds, bodies and souls with yoga. My goal is for you to feel energized and aligned when you step off the mat. Yoga is about finding harmony within your body and mind as well as cultivating it in your heart.
