Jessica Marsh RMT will show you how to massage your body with a range of techniques in this workshop. Participants will be guided by Jessica for one hour of self-massage. Participants will remain completely clothed with either bare feet or socks. Most techniques can be performed standing or seated. Jessica Marsh is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2000. Her teaching experience includes anatomy and massage therapy at Northumberland College. She also has an independent business in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Jessica presented a series of Treat Yourself workshops to seniors who have limited access and cannot afford massage therapy. The sessions she delivered were enjoyable and full of great information. She also gave exercises and suggested ways to make use of ordinary items (such as tennis balls, rolling pins, elbows, and fists), to loosen tight areas in the body. She not only provided us with valuable learning experiences but also gave us the gift and ability to laugh. This is a great healing tool.
