Atlantic School of Theology

Atlantic School of Theology (AST) was established in 1971 and is known primarily as an ecumenical school of Christian ministry and theology. Three Christian denominations, Holy Heart Theological Seminary, the Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation of Halifax, and Pine Hill Divinity Hall, the United Church of Canada, co-sponsored and governed the institution. The School has a Faculty, Senate, and Faculty and a student body, curriculum, Board of Governors, Senate, Faculty, and student body. AST is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools of America and Canada. Besides the master of divinity and master of arts (theology and religious studies) degree programs, Saint Mary's University offers the Master of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies degree. In addition, the School offers continuing education and diploma programs.
