Paul Skerry Architects Ltd is a self-regulating professional society of licensed professionals operating in Nova Scotia. It was created in 1932 and is mandated by The Architects Act of Nova Scotia to control the practice of architecture in the province. The primary goals of the NSAA are to secure the public and to enhance the profession of architecture. The NSAA deals with other stakeholders and members to establish high professional entrance requirements and high practice standards. The NSAA By-Laws and Code of Ethics contain strict rules for professional and ethical behavior. The organization aids various government bodies in enacting laws that may impact architects or their clients.
