Our house was not an easy job to take on. The weathered rough sawn cedar siding (with a few new replacements) required two coats of solid stain because I wanted to lighten the colour. The windows, wood framed and metal clad, were of two different generations and colour of the cladding. Both stain and paint was needed to match the old windows to the new. Besides that, there were architectural aspects of the house, such as a high wall over a glass sunroom, that made work more difficult. The painting crew took it all in stride. They were professional, efficient and pleasant, working well together with everyone knowing what he was doing. They indulged things I felt needed attention and they cleaned up each day before they left. The foreman checked at the start and the end of each work day to monitor the progress, and was always available by phone or text throughout the day. All in all, a job well done.
