Sock It To Ya!

After nearly two decades of working in the lighting industry, I discovered that my heart lay in..... socks! Every Christmas, my older brother from Montreal gave me socks. I loved to feel hot and cozy while loafing around the house. A family friend was closing their hot dog shop on Spring Garden Road in downtown Halifax, and I saw an opportunity to launch an exciting sock brand. I love hot dogs, so it just made sense.  My fiancé and I visited Toronto while on vacation, where I met a Bonnie Doon Socks sales representative who was attending the trade show. I did not have a business strategy and only had 180 square feet of retail space. So I guess I chose to go to the trade show. I placed orders for items for a sock shop that did not quite exist. I understand that this was a big risk, but I thought why not. My father gave me the line credit required to operate my sock shop upon my arrival back in Halifax. The rest was history, they stated.

Customers appreciate the incredible sock variety and grooming products. The shop owner, Rachel, is lovely and thoughtful, which shows dedication to customer service. Most clients endorsed the personalized thank you cards and the eco friendly packaging. A couple of reviewers agreed that the in store and online shopping experiences were pleasant. The shop has fantastic products.
