The firm’s office is located in the heart of the freshly revived downtown landmark Century Place, overlooking historic Bridge St. E. and surrounded by gigantic arched windows that let in natural light. It is across the street from a municipal parking lot and is fully accessible. Our founding lawyer, Richard Aitken, is based in this office and has been practising criminal law for nearly 40 years. Our Belleville team also includes criminal lawyer Virginia Dolinska, paralegals Zachary McDonald and Melanie Van Aarde (who has a law degree from South Africa), and legal assistant Jaspreet Gill (who has a law degree from India and is in the process of qualifying to practise as a lawyer in Ontario). Our firm covers the entire province of Ontario handling criminal charges, including DUI, drinking and driving, drug, assault, theft, and fraud charges.
