Jenn Budgen graduated from Lambton College, Sarnia (Ontario), with a diploma in Sports Facilities and Recreation Administration. Jenn began participating in gymnastics at three years old and started as an assistant coach at eleven. She transitioned into coaching her classes at fourteen and remained as the Sarnia-Lambton YMCA's Head Coach at 17. She has several coaching certifications, such as full NCCP Level 1, Level 2 Theory, and level 1 Trampoline. She is also a Rebound Therapy Practitioner. Jenn has also taken Gymnastics Ontario's Preschool Specialist Program, Recreational & Preschool Courses, and went to the RecGymPros: Recreational Gymnastics Professional Summit, G.O. She attended the annual Coaches Congress and traveled to Philadelphia to participate for one full week at the USA Gymnastics Congress for coaches in 2001.
