Derrydale Animal Hospital

Derrydale Animal Hospital was created by Dr. Zaharchuk on July 7, 1986. Initially, it was located in a Victorian home on Hwy 10 in Brampton. We moved to our current location in 1997, where we have remained ever since. Dr. Zaharchuk is a 1981 graduate of Ontario Veterinary College who founded the Practice. She is also a dedicated mother to Taryn and Amanda, her two daughters, with her wife Jan Zaharchuk. Dr. Zaharchuk has a passion for avian and exotic animals and always ensures they are well-cared for. She also held many leading seats on the board of directors of the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association over the years. Like his owner and family, Dr. Zaharchuk enjoys a healthy work-life balance, spending quality time with his favorite Aengus. His favorite pastimes also include enjoying quality wine and teeing off at the golf course.
