House Of Glam Studio

I had booked an appointment at House of Glam Salon for my brother's wedding. Despite my appointment being scheduled for 3:30, they started an hour late. I was made to wait uncomfortably on the waxing table, feeling completely ignored. My hair stylist, one of the two international girls, spent an hour slowly attempting to create flat curls with a straightener. When my mom arrived, she noticed that my hair was a mess. The other girl then had to re-curl my hair. The staff at the salon seemed severely underqualified. When Mandy, the owner, asked one of the girls to start the next client's base makeup, she had a blank expression on her face. They kept shuffling us back and forth between chairs, causing further confusion and delays. My sister had shown them a specific hairstyle she wanted, but they disregarded her request and did their own outdated puff style. This upset my sister, and they had to redo her hair as well. In total, it took them a whopping four hours to finally finish with us. This included redoing both of our hair and even redoing my makeup because my mom had pointed out that it looked dull. The entire experience was terrible, and they had the audacity to charge us $430 (at a discounted price) for their efforts and time. We don't pay for their time; we pay for their expertise and experience, both of which House of Glam lacks. It's highly doubtful that they even have proper cosmetology licenses or certificates for the services they overcharge for.
