Here in Canada and especially in Ontario, we are fortunate to have many excellent physicians and good healthcare. We are proud of our healthcare system. Still, it is devastating when a patient is injured or harmed because the care they receive falls below the appropriate standard of care. This can lead to tragic consequences for the patient and their family. A patient and their family may file a civil lawsuit (often referred to as medical malpractice) if they are injured or harmed due to a doctor or other healthcare practitioner's negligence (i.e., a dentist, nurse, pharmacist, etc.). Medical malpractice attorneys represent patients and their families to facilitate a lawsuit and receive compensation for the damages caused by negligence. Indeed, because they understand negligence laws, they want this compensation to ensure the patient receives the proper therapy they require and make any necessary renovations to their house to accommodate a patient with disabilities and to access new equipment. I have been blessed with having both Mr Aaron and Josh Lang representing me on two separate personal injury claims. They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced lawyers. I fell in a restaurant and other lawyers told me that it was not worth claiming and turned me down. Mr Lang reconstructed my case with an engineer and settled my claim with a decent amount! Praise him! Josh was very attentive to detail and fought toughly on my slip and fall case. The other side’s lawyer tried to argue that there is no negligence on their part as I did not have any witnesses.
