AiDa | Academy of Imagination & Dramatic Arts

At AiDa, Academy of Imagination & Dramatic Arts, our purpose is to support individuals in developing creative expression, confidence, self-discovery, and literacy at all ages and paths. AiDa methodologies are effective for educational, performance, therapeutic, mental health resilience, and leadership purposes. AiDa offers Leaders In Training (secondary students can earn community service credit). AiDa has a Summer CO-OP. AiDa a Mohawk College Continuing Education builder and community partner with HWDSB, Hamilton Arts Council, Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion, HamiltonCommunity Foundation, and Hamilton Boys and Girls Clubs has training programs. At AiDa, we cultivate creativity, imagination, kindness, empathy, respect, and mindfulness through drama. AiDa inspirited us to connect with art and social change in the world.

Aida summer day camp Hamilton participants post mainly positive feedback about their experience, the programs, and the camp's founder, Kaime who receives high praise for creating a positive, creative, and welcoming environment for the participants to call home. Many parents praised their children's positive experiences at the camp, such as how they made so many new friends, how they had fun and how they felt happy and encouraged to show off their talents. They were happy about the camp structure, which consists of various fun and creative activities every day. The positive atmosphere stems from the combined effect of the program variety, the policy of community involvement, and the skilled emotional support and care of Kaime and MLs. The active fun and creative activities for the kids including the talent shows, acting, games, singing, and hiking. Children spoke of improved communication, networking, creativity and fun at AIDA and the development of new friendships and a new sense of confidence. The reviews indicate that AiDa's program is genuinely nurturing and an environment that strengthens the community.
