About CM Dancing Since 2005, CM Dancing has offered a range of dance classes for kids aged 2 to 17 in and around Hamilton. Our goals are to encourage all young dancers and enable them to learn to express themselves with their movements. Our studio is welcoming to children at all levels. Program Offerings This program is for children aged 2-17. This level features jazz, tap ballet, hip hop and acro. The year-end show is exclusive to family and friends. This program is a great way to understand stage presence for kids interested in learning about dancing and putting it all together—like singing and acting—in a show at the end of the year. This 1.5-hour class mixes jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, acro, and simple choreography. This level is enough to ensure children enjoy their dancing while learning to build confidence. The Program Dancers who are ready to move up a level. Dancers will be required to rehearse for 5 hours per week in local competitions. This level is designed to prepare them for the next level. It is impossible to improve the confidence or the ability of a performer in front of an audience without taking lessons. Elite This program is for those who have a passion for dancing. Dancers are chosen through an audition and attend class weekly. They can expect to compete in competitions throughout Canada and the United States. The memories we create and the friendships we make will last forever. This is a two-hour support class.
