The Schiehallion Dancers are a studio dance group for dancers older than 13 years old who have a strong commitment to Highland Dance. No matter how committed you are to Highland Dancing, our classes will be a lot of fun and educational. The classes are designed so that students can learn the correct technique, dances, and steps necessary to compete and pass the STDA Dance Exams. The classes are divided by age and competition levels. The expectation is that dancers who wish to compete should attend two classes per week. It is important to train properly in order to maintain and develop a standard of dance that can compete at the provincial, national, and even international levels.
