Since its establishment in 1995, Hamilton School of Music has been dedicated to offering high-quality music training for adults and children in Hamilton. Veteran accordionist and bandleader Glen Ellement and local musician founded by Glen hired many teachers with excellent training and qualifications in various instruments they could confidently play. The school had several teachers, and the school roster was in the hundreds at one point. Their dedication to quality music education paid off as many students who once sat in Glen School's classrooms continued their musical education beyond secondary school. Other students have gone on to secure careers as professional musicians. Hamilton School of Music is also a licensed Kindermusik school. The innovative music institution serves Hamilton, Stoney Creek Ancaster Dundas, Binbrook, and the neighboring areas. The Hamilton School of Music, located in Hamilton, is staffed by professional musicians who are also academically qualified to teach a unique and wide array of instruments.
