Hypnosis is essentially a form of relaxation, and a state of mind where suggestions can be made to help you learn new behavior and beliefs. In the hypnotic mind, new neural pathways are laid down in the same way as when we are asleep. Think of your belief system about yourself as a set of filters. These filters either helped or hindered you as you grew up. They are real and permanent even if they seem negative. They have gotten you through very hard times. Yet, bear in mind that emotions are not accurate, but just filters that we use to interpret reality. They do not represent reality exactly. This is where Hypnosis comes in. You can only use these emotions to generate your reality. But you can delete or modify them, and you can also add more filters.
