Born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, Mr. Levy graduated from Frontenac Secondary School and module de L’Acadie. In his early legal career, he completed a clerkship in 2015 under the tutelage of renowned barrister Richard J. Aitken. Subsequently, Mr. Tekenos Levy was admitted to the Bar in 2016 and has focused exclusively on criminal defense. Throughout his career at Tekenos-Levy Law, he has represented clients in the Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice. Though he mostly practiced in eastern Ontario, Mr. Tekenos Levy has handled numerous cases across the province. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's University in criminology (dean's list). Thereafter, he pursued a Master's degree with a Scottish Saltire Scholarship. The University of Glasgow offered Mr. Tekenos Levy an MSc. in Human Rights and International Politics. He wrote his Master's thesis on "Prisoner conditions of the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada: A Comparative Analyse of Human Rights Law Adherence." He then enrolled at the University of Edinburgh, where he earned his law degree. During law school, Mr. Tekenos Levy captained the varsity men’s hockey team.
