NOVUS Glass is a subsidiary of Fix Network World, the world's top automotive aftermarket service provider. The Repair First, Replace If Necessary (r) strategy of NOVUS Glass allows us to fix more glass with excellent optical clarity, structural integrity, and enhanced safety. In 1972, the NOVUS story was born in the United States. Small windshield repairs because of glass cracks led Dr. Frank Werner to look for a method to repair a crack instead of replacing the glass. Then there is Bill Wiele, a chemical engineer who assisted Dr. Frank Werner in developing the effective glass repair technique the company is now known for. Gerald Keinath acquired the rights to a windshield repair patent in 1972 and devised a strategy to provide it to the people. The company began as a tiny home-based venture and was eventually renamed NOVUS (r), a Latin word meaning "new" or "innovative".
