Reliable Founded by Sara Macdonald in 1998, Toes Across The Floor Dance Company was a non-competitive studio when it started. We were dancing simply because we enjoyed it, and our emphasis was on the joy of dance. We intended to make dance available to everyone in an atmosphere that was enjoyable, welcoming, and relaxed. The need for a low-pressure, non-competitive dance option in the community led to the formation of Toes Across the Floor's first competition team in 2013. Our goal is to assist each dancer in achieving their complete potential, and Toes succeeds only when each individual reaches their full potential. Our company was founded on the principle that the expense and commitment of competing in competitive dance should not prevent a young dancer from taking part. Although our Elite Dance Team now competes, that is not the primary focus of the Studio. Both our competitive and recreational dancers are required to take classes together, varying by age and experience. In this manner, dancers learn from each other, and the transition to a competitive group is more natural. At Toes, we aim to deliver a safe, fun, and engaging dance experience for everyone from age 2 to adult without undue stress.
