Peter hails from the west coast, having been born on Vancouver Island. He graduated with a BFA from the University of Victoria in 1996. Since then, he has felt the urge to paint almost everywhere except the coast (well.....) for the past twelve years with his wife. This includes their art business, Corinne and Peter’s Art Studio, where they also live. However, most of the pieces he is most proud of painting are architectural scenes and whimsical pieces. Corinne and Peter’s Art Studio is where Peter Garlick and Corinne Karas live and work. Corinne and Peter are two professional visual artists. They have lives and careers that revolve around their art. They work out of their studio and residence. They have used oil on canvas, but also have experience with masonite and panel. They hand frame some of their art. Visit them today but only if you have an appointment. Peter Karas and Corinne Garlick are visual artists living and working in London Ontario. Corinne grew up in Southern Ontario, where she showed an interest in all the arts. She completed her secondary education at Beal High School in London, Ontario. Corinne moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to study at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She is a more recent addition to the local art community, having spent the past twelve years painting people of many kinds. In terms of medium, Peter works with oils but has worked with masonite over the years. He and his wife, Corinne, make their living by creating art. They have been married for five years. Peter and Corinne Karas-Garlick also teach. They do this as they find it fulfilling. They have a wide range of classes offered through Fanshawe College’s Department of Continuing Education.
