Peter was born on Vancouver Island, in the west. In 1996, he graduated with a BFA from the University of Victoria. He's painted both coasts and almost everywhere between them (well .....). He has spent the past twelve years, along with his wife, painting full time. However, he is more interested in architectural scenes and whimsical scenes. Corinne and Peter’s Art Studio is both the studio and residence of Corinne Karas and Peter Garlick. Since 1992, we have been earning our living through our art. Our primary medium is oil on canvas, masonite or panel. We also hand-frame a few of our pieces. We are available by appointment. Two visual artists, Peter Karas and Corinne Garlick, live and work in London Ontario Canada. Corinne was born in Southern Ontario and always showed an interest in the arts. She studied at Beal High School in London, Ontario before moving to Halifax and studying at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Corinne spent twelve years as a full-time artist painting people of all kinds. Peter and Corinne, who have been married for five years, also devote some of their time to teaching. They currently teach a range of courses at Fanshawe College’s Department of Continuing Education.

Sheri Cappa was raised on a small farm in South-Western Ontario. Sheri Cappa's job as a skating coach has helped her to develop her creativity in both music and dance. Since 2009, she has been a part of the London Brush and Palette Club. She has developed and grown through her participation in workshops, classes and field trips. Sheri's work has been displayed in private collections across Canada and she was awarded multiple ribbons at the Brush and Palette Club annual shows. She organizes artist retreats in Ontario Provincial Parks, and elsewhere. Sheri enjoys working with all age groups and she has taught in both schools and privately. Her detailed watercolour and graphite pieces are the most recent. Inviting the viewer to enter the drawing or painting, the artist aims to convey the joy and whimsy of the moment, which often brings a smile. Playing with light and darkness creates depth that "draws" viewers to the detail, showing the concentration and focus the artist took to convey the joy and happiness of art. Sheri's favourite mediums are pencil, ink and watercolour. Combining two or three of these media has been successful for her. Watercolour is her favourite medium because of its fluidity, and she also enjoys how it can be unpredictable. The subjects range from people and animals to her camping trips.
