Located in the Old East Village Recker Art, specializes in the Canadian Pop Art by Jason Recker. Jason Recker is a local, an award-winning living and visual artist. I am a graphic designer that lives in London, Ontario Canada. My studio can be found at 796 Dundas St. London, ON. I can see my art in person and maybe get nostalgic since my nostalgic pop art might represent a happy time or place for you. This nostalgic pop art could represent an image of an artist that you loved the most when you were a teenager and all you cared about was when you were on weekend escapades with your school friends, or it could just show the joy that comes with coming home and seeing something different on your wall every day.  You might be transported back in time to a simpler time in your life as a result of my art. My art started to change when I started traveling, after making trips around the world I found out that the Californian vibe really resonated with me. It’s the sunshine and the culture that comes with it that I love. My other passion is car culture. Experts always say there is too much information about cars that we don’t need to know and I couldn’t agree more. Music is in my blood. When The Kinks played at Cobo Arena, in Detroit I was only fourteen. I was drawn to the show by the smell of American cigarettes, weed, and beer, standing in a room filled with adrenaline waiting for the lights and the drumbeat to start. My art reflects all these things that I loved as a child. My stories, which I tell through my mixed-media works, reflect what I grew up enjoying by capturing various themes such as travel, music, surf, or moto and old-school nature.
