Our team combines different talents that work concurrently. They can use their individual skills to change and advance our work. Richard Hammond & Alison Hannay formed Cornerstone Architecture in 1991. It is based on clients, their buildings and their organisations. Richard is the Principal Architect of the firm and the practice leader in the design of elders. He is also responsible for the company's green, high-performing buildings. Richard graduated from the School of Architecture of the University of Waterloo with a degree in architecture. He completed his postgraduate certificates in sustainability at Arizona State University and the University of Waterloo. Richard also completed the Executive Program at Singularity University in Palo Alto, California. He connects and learns from an international network of innovators in even the upcoming technologies.
