About this business
In 2000 the Jonathon Bancroft-Snell Gallery became the go-to place for people to find that unique ceramic piece to add to their collection. The gallery houses dozens of Canada’s top ceramic artists. We provide an entire representation of Canadian ceramics from all over. We also show-and-sell many other talented artists like woodturner Doug Magrath and fiber artist Nancy Latchford. Every year we plan a number of different exhibitions. These can include group shows, solo shows, and the national show called "Matter of Clay." Menno Schuster organizes the "Matter of Clay" show. This is the third the gallery has had so far. That was 2011, and it showed over 100 artists. The gallery is unique in that we show all the major pieces of the exhibition, and the "repeat" work that so many artists make their living with. Jonathon’s is the place to be for connoisseurs, museum directors, and curators. However, we serve everyone looking for that special teapot or mug. Jonathon’s gallery has clay in every budget and for every reason.
