ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Our dedicated staff and management aim to cater to the unique needs of the aging seniors in our facilities by offering a dignified living experience. We respect the privacy of our residents and strive to offer them independent living as much as possible. In 1872, the building was built by James Duffield (owner of London Oil Refining Company), which would later be Imperial Oil. It has become a historical landmark in London. This great house was used for much, including hosting The Red Cross Blood Clinic, The London College of Bibles & Missions, and The Hooper Memorial Chapel. Later, the property was used as Queens Avenue Manor. Chateau Gardens began operations in 1978. It was a nursing home. They sold the property to Village Partners in May 2002. Village Partners, a private partnership in Ontario, owns several retirement villages & nursing homes. Village Partners has promised to restore this building to its original state. The building's character and integrity will be preserved, including sculpted arches and wood paneling. Queens Village was awarded the Urban League of London Green Brick Award on June 13, 2005. This project was given to recognize that it was elderly-sensitive and sensitive to persons living in history. The Urban League of London created the award to challenge and demand that developments consider community desires in both planning and construction. Queens Village For Seniors will be the inhabitants of the building when it is complete. The waiting list for the 63 beds, which can be rented as studio one-bedroom apartments, is long.

SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

Queens Village memory care floor has staff and families who treat residents like family. Despite challenges, the community responds to great memories. The Village impressed me with its layout being impressive, it provided safety and numerous activities. This additional assistance from staff who understand the challenges of their work, and the fun gathering ground for memory care residents. My family appreciated the care and nuturing kindness that the Village staff provided. This also continued for me. I also loved the place, I saw how my uncles were treated at the Village it was like a family meeting.
